Checking whether you are already signed in…

The path

What signing up actually does

Five steps between a roll number and a seat. You can stop after any of them, and nothing becomes true because you said it. A student may record what they did; only the college may confirm what happened.

  1. Open your recordYour IOE roll number, a mobile number the office can ring, an email address and a passcode you choose. A six-digit code sent to that email confirms it. Nothing is charged and no seat is held yet.
  2. Say what you want to studyIf ICE has already offered you a seat, the programme on our merit list is the one used and you cannot be moved out of it by a form. If you hold no offer, you choose from the three degrees below.
  3. Pay the deposit to the bankRs 50,000 from your own bank or wallet to the college account, which your record prints in full with the name it is held under. It is an instalment, so it comes off your fee rather than sitting on top of it.
  4. Record it and send the receiptA photograph or a PDF, whichever your bank app gives you. The accounts desk matches it against the bank statement before your record says confirmed. A rejection has to carry a reason, and you can read it.
  5. Bring your documents and enrolOriginals plus one attested copy each, at the Tathali campus. Attendance, results, your timetable and the remaining instalments then open on the same record.

No money moves through this page. There is no card field, no wallet button and no payment gateway in the whole system. Your record is append-only: every line on it carries the time and the name of whoever wrote it, and nothing is edited or deleted.

The money

What a seat costs

Total for the full four-year BE programme (eight semesters). The amount is set by your IOE entrance rank and it is the same for every student in the same band. Published for the 2083/84 intake on 14 August 2026 (29 Shrawan 2083), and dated so that it can be superseded next intake without anyone having been misled.

The booking deposit

Rs 50,000

It books the seat and it is an instalment, so it comes off the figure in your band rather than being added to it. Your own record works out the remainder and prints it beside the total.

Inside every band, at no charge

  • Rs 0Hostel For enrolled students, all four years.
  • Rs 0College bus from Koteshwor Daily route to the Tathali campus.
  • Rs 0Your merit scholarship Already inside the band price. Further support is assessed individually, so ask before you treat this as your final number.

University registration and examination charges are set by Tribhuvan University and billed separately. Ask for the signed fee sheet and it will list every charge outside this amount before you pay anything.

The degrees

What you can study here

Three Bachelor of Engineering programmes, four years and eight semesters each, taught on the Tribhuvan University IOE curriculum. The degree is awarded by Tribhuvan University, and graduates sit the Nepal Engineering Council licence to practise.

Computer Engineering

48 seats

Software, systems, networks and AI, with the hardware fundamentals included.

Civil Engineering

96 seats

Structures, water, roads and hydropower. Nepal’s largest engineering discipline.

Electronics, Communication & Information

Every seat in all three is filled strictly on IOE entrance rank. There is no separate college entrance exam, and no seat is sold outside that order. How the TU affiliation works

What the four fields are for

Registration asks for four things. Here is what each one does, including the one that is a genuine limitation rather than a feature.

Your roll number
It finds your record. It is also public, printed beside your name on our merit list and on the Institute of Engineering’s own 2083 pass list, so typing it here does not prove that you are you. That is exactly why nothing you do on this page is treated as final until the office has checked it against the bank.
Your mobile number
So a person at the admission office can ring you about your own admission. Any number you actually answer is fine, including one that differs from the number IOE holds. It is contact data and it is never used as proof of identity.
Your email address
The six-digit code that confirms your record, and passcode recovery afterwards. The code is yours alone, and nobody from the college will ever ask you to read it out.
Your passcode
Stored as a salted hash and never as text, so no one at the college can read it back to you. Forget it and you can reset it by email, or the office can reset it for you on the phone.

Questions people ask at this screen

Do I have to be on the ICE merit list to sign up?

No. Every candidate who passed the IOE 2083 entrance can open a record here. If your roll is on our merit list the college has already allotted your programme, and that allocation is what your record uses. If it is not, you pick the programme yourself and the office confirms it against your deposit and the places still open.

Is anything charged on this page?

No. Opening a record is free, and there is no card field, no wallet button and no payment gateway anywhere in this system. You pay the college by bank transfer or QR the way you would pay anyone, and this page is where that payment gets written down.

What if I sign up and then choose a different college?

Nothing here obliges you to enrol. A record with no confirmed deposit holds no seat and costs nothing to leave. If you have already paid and your plan changes, your record carries a control that asks the office to change it, and they speak to you before anything moves.

Roll numbers are public. What stops someone else opening a record on mine?

Being first, and nothing else, which is why nothing done in a record is authoritative. The office sees every registration, checks every payment against the bank, and can reset any record. If you think somebody has used your roll, ring the admission office and say so.

Can I look at the dashboard before I hand over anything?

Yes. Sign in with roll number 2083-999999 and the passcode ICE-demo-2083. It is a read-only sample record filled with invented data, published for this exact reason, and the server refuses every action inside it.

How long does the whole thing take?

About two minutes to open the record. The deposit takes as long as your bank takes, and the accounts desk usually confirms it the same working day. Document verification and enrolment happen at the campus afterwards.

Every entry on this record is written by you or by the admission office, and nothing here is edited or deleted. If something looks wrong, call the office on 01-5091616.
