What is Kaamko?
Kaamko is a free set of 32 calculators and converters built for Nepal specifically. They are written by computer engineering students at Imperial College of Engineering in Tathali, Bhaktapur, and published by the college. They work out the things Nepali forms, bills and counters actually ask for: Bikram Sambat dates, Preeti to Unicode, ropani and bigha, NEB and TU grades, salary tax under the current Finance Act, SSF and TDS, land registration and vehicle tax, NEA electricity slabs, and the published NRB, NEPSE, Kalimati and fuel rates.
None of them need a sign-up, and most run entirely in your browser, so what you type is never sent anywhere. The exceptions are the pages that quote a published rate — those read a live source, and each one names the source and the date it was read. Where a figure is provisional rather than gazetted, the page says so instead of rounding the doubt away.
